Atlantic Forum at the NATO Youth Summit

Brussels, 28 April 2022. On Thursday, 28 April 2022, NATO Secretary General, Jens Stoltenberg, opened the NATO Youth Summit - Securing Our Shared Future. The Secretary General took part in a conversation on NATO’s agenda, moderated by Atlantic Forum patron Lauren Speranza, Director at the Center for European Policy Analysis (CEPA). The conversation will be followed by a questions and answers session.

Organised in cooperation with the Center for European Policy Analysis (CEPA), the NATO Youth Summit brought together young leaders across Europe, North America, and beyond. They explored the issues they see as critical to global security, with contributions from diverse and non-traditional voices - from activists and artists to tech leaders and NATO officials.

Atlantic Forum was represented by: Marie Zámečníková, delegation leader (CZE), Sofiia Shevchuk (UKR), Christine Khomyk (UKR), Maarten Toelen (BEL) and Louisa Handel-Mazzetti (NLD). Furthermore many patrons appeared on the (digital) stage as part of the CEPA designed program: Lauren Speranza (USA), John Jacobs (NLD), Alexander Landry (CAN), Cori Fleser (USA), Tania Lațici (ROU), Katarina Kertysova (SVK), Alexandra Martin (ROU). Atlantic Forum takes pride in having 12 patrons involved with this project and are in particular proud of Lauren Speranza’s initiative and organization through CEPA!
