How to Get Published in Atlantica Magazine

Atlantic Forum is committed to making your voice heard. Each issue of Atlantica features three articles per month on a theme selected by the Atlantic Forum team, in conjunction with NATO’s Public Diplomacy Division.

Follow the Five-Step Plan

Our five-step guide aims to help you on your way to publishing your piece in Atlantica.

Get published through the Atlantic Forum and earn EUR 35.- in the process!

Step 0

Sign up to become a patron.* Patrons must be between 18 and 35.

Step 1

Once you have your patron login, have a look at the complete topic list. This way you can make sure to stay updated on when your favourite topic is in the next publishing round.

Step 2

React to the call for papers on our chosen topics. Alternatively, if your mind is already set on a specific topic, you can proactively reach out to us and pitch your idea by writing to the editors.

Step 3

Write an abstract of no more than 250 words, indicating the scope and relevance of your contribution. Submit your abstract to the editor via email. We accept abstracts from both patrons and non-patrons.

Step 4

After your abstract has been reviewed, our editor will get in touch with you. From there, you are required to submit a full draft by the given deadline. You will be given feedback on your paper and have the chance to incorporate our revisions.

Step 5

Congratulations! You just published a timely and relevant insight on transatlantic issues, and earned EUR 35.-!*
