Ambassador Ildem is a former senior Turkish diplomat. Since the start of his career in 1978, he has held positions involving multilateral and bilateral affairs. He served as NATO Assistant Secretary General for Public Diplomacy between March 2016 and May 2020 during which NATO launched #WeAreNATO, #NATOEngages and the NATO Engagement Facebook group

Dr. Jamie Shea
Jamie Patrick Shea was Deputy Assistant Secretary General for Emerging Security Challenges at NATO Headquarters in Brussels, Belgium until his retirement in late September 2018. He received worldwide attention during the 1999 Kosovo War, when he served as the spokesperson for NATO.

Ms. Tessy Antony de Nassau
In the past, she spent five years in the Luxembourg military, during which she was deployed in Kosovo as a peacekeeper and only woman of her draft. Tessy actively promotes a number of issues, including global health and women's rights.

Mr. Jim Townsend
James Joye Townsend Jr. is an adjunct senior fellow in the CNAS Transatlantic Security Program and the president of the Atlantic Treaty Association. After eight years as Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense (DASD) for European and NATO Policy, Jim Townsend completed more than two decades of work on European and NATO policy in the Pentagon, at NATO and at the Atlantic Council.

Mr. Róbert Vass
Róbert Vass started his professional career as the President of the Euro-Atlantic Center, a non-governmental organisation. In 2005, he founded the annual GLOBSEC Bratislava Global Security Forum. In 2006, he was elected Chairman of the Slovak Atlantic Commission and in 2008 its Secretary General. In 2016, as the whole network of organisations called Central European Strategy Council became GLOBSEC, RóbertVass became its President.

Capt (N) Niels Woudstra
Niels Woudstra is a retired captain from the Royal Netherlands Navy. He was the permanent representative to the European Union and deputy permanent representative to NATO until his retirement in 2023. He currently serves in the board of the JASON institute, one of NATO’s oldest (youth) engagement initiatives (founding in 1975).
