Atlantic Forum is very glad to have been invited to join the NATO Strategic Communications Centre of Excellence (StratCom COE) call for scenarios “Beyond information influence”.

How to participate? Well, the only thing you have to do is to GET SOME  FRESH transatlantic INSPIRATION and submit an idea of a fictitious political-military scenario concept that could be played out in StratCom training exercises (such as a table-top exercise, or TTX). Selected concepts will be further refined and modeled into StratCom exercise frameworks during their upcoming symposium on StratCom scenario and exercise development.

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: November 5, 2021.

The best scenario concepts will be eligible for publication on the COE webpage and their authors will be invited to participate in the upcoming COE hosted symposium for StratCom exercises & scenarios in Riga. Travel, accommodation and meals will be fully covered by COE.

The scenario concept should entail:

  • A fictitious political geography
  • Fictitious civilian & military actors
  • A background story of conflicting interests, values and narratives
  • Contemporary tactics, techniques and procedures (TTP) of Information Warfare
  • Real world hybrid threat experience
