Call for Papers: August 1, 2019


Atlantica, Volume 1, Issue 2


The Atlantic Forum (AF) invites members of the AF network to submit proposals for the second issue of its online magazine, Atlantica, which will be published on October 1, 2019. Papers should be related to the issue’s theme, “NATO Exercises and the Importance of Readiness,” and should discuss one of the following subthemes:

  • Saber Strike 2019/Steadfast Flow 2019
  • Enhanced Forward Presence (eFP)
  • Interoperability

One article per subtheme will be selected for publication. Each author will receive a stipend of 35 euro upon publication of the issue.

Applicants should submit an abstract of no more than 250 words and a bio of no more than 150 words to by Monday, August 19, 2019. Abstracts will be reviewed by the editor of Atlantica and the AF director. Applicants’ whose articles are selected for publication in Atlantica are expected to submit a full draft between 2,000 and 3,000 words to the editor by Friday, September 6, 2019.
