Atlantic Forum will be partnering with the Estonian Atlantic Treaty Association for the second time to host a North Atlantic Council (NAC) simulation on the 29th of May

The topic of the simulation will be to reanect last year's discussion about COVID relief by combining the Defence Ministers Meeting from 2020 where NATO decided on various support mechanisms to combat the pandemic threat. By doing so the participants will learn about the Euro-Atlantic Disaster Response Coordination Centre (EADRCC), NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) and the airlift capability provided by the Strategic Airlift Capability (SAC), and the Strategic Airlift International Solution (SALIS). One trainer from the Atlantic Forum Academy will be joining the group of young professionals online.

About Atlantic Forum Academy

The trainers have previously attended a dictatings training at The Netherlands Institute of International Relations Clingendael. Atlantic Forum Academy makes use of material from Private Office of the Secretary General of NATO for it's North Atlantic Council simulations. Atlantic Forum strives to create a simulation as close an approximation of the real North Atlantic Council as possible, allowing participants to learn more about the workings of the North Atlantic Council, as well as debunking myths and misunderstandings of how NATO works.
