#NATOEngages makes a return as the official NATO Leaders’ Meeting side-event in London on Tuesday 3 December, entitled NATO Engages: Innovating the Alliance. This event is being organised as a consortium by the Atlantic Council, GLOBSEC, King’s College London, the Munich Security Conference (MSC), and the Royal United Instituted Services Institute (RUSI), and in partnership with NATO’s Public Diplomacy Division and the UK Government.
Just before the start of the main Leaders’ Meeting programme that evening, this high-profile town hall-style event will set the scene for the Meeting and will be an opportunity to engage in a public conversation about NATO’s future and the importance of innovation in a rapidly changing security environment.
Building on the success of NATO Engages: The Brussels Summit Dialogue at the 2018 July summit, and NATO Engages: The Alliance at 70 in Washington DC in April 2019, the London event will use a range of interactive formats to engage a wide audience of both senior and next-generation leaders and opinion shapers in security, politics, business, tech, academia, media, civil society, and the creative community.
NATO Engages will provide a unique opportunity to preview key topics on the official Leaders’ Meeting agenda, to debate the challenges and opportunities NATO faces and to discuss the Alliance’s future in a changing world – all with panels of highly distinguished experts, influential policymakers, media personalities and many more.
