Biannual Conference: Transatlanticism 2020

When we started Atlantic Forum, the idea was to gather young professionals at least two times a year to celebrate transatlanticism, and discuss the current state of affairs of strongest alliance in history. The first iteration of the Atlantic Forum Conferences series will take place online on the 2nd till 4th of October 2020. We aim to gather 85 young professionals online.

Confirmed speakers include Dr Jamie Shea (Friends of Europe, 38year career at NATO), Amy Lecomber & Benjamin Tuft (the young bright minds behind the #WeAreNATO campaign), Alexandra Martin (GLOBSEC), Raluca Csernatoni (Carnegie Europe) and Tessy Antony de Nassau (Atlantic Forum Board of Recommendations), as well as the key team members of Atlantic Forum running the Academy and Young Journalist programs.

In addition to the conference speakers, a side event will be hosted to discuss the future of the Young Transatlantic Leadership Network (YTLN), where working group will present their ideas on the structure and functioning of the network.

*While the Marriot can deliver a safe experience within the current COVID restrictions (1.5m distance) pending developments in the coming weeks we may decide to switch the conference to a fully online event, at which point tickets will be refunded and we enjoy a two day digital conference.
